What is the best way to see China and Japan in one trip without spending a million dollars? ?

My wife and I are planning a two week trip to Japan next summer but we really wanted to see China too. Its a long and expensive flight (we live in Atlanta, GA) and it just seems like it would be cheaper to do both at one time. Does anyone have any experience with this or tips on where to look? Thanks.

You could buy whats called an open jaw ticket there you fly into one city and return via another city. But you will have to check your airline company does that. Buy the looks of things it looks like you have done that.

The next step is to cut out the middle man, Travelocity will charge you a middle man cut search for the airlines website and check online for what there prices are then compare..
