What is the best way to see Ireland and meet real people/avoid touristy stuff?

  1. Stay at the B&Bs (there are packages and you can pick them as you go along) and rent a car so you can travel wherever the feeling may lead you.

    People are friendly and all seem more than willing to help you in any way (along with a talented gift of gab).


  2. Try go to the rural parts of Ireland, avoid big cities like Dublin. Dont get me wrong, i live in Dublin and love it but its full of tourists.

    There are some lovely parts of rural Ireland like Kerry or Galway which would be exactly what your looking for.

  3. go macdonalds love, they will only employ the locals

  4. Just a simple walk in the park or up the peir. Personally i love the aran islands inis iarr is the best inis mór is really touristy but inis iarr isn't really.
