I always struggle with seeding a pomegranate. Can somebody apprise me of a technique through which I can easily seed it in a jiffy?

Most people find it extremely hard to cut and seed a pomegranate. In actuality though the method is quite simple and only requires a little bit of tenderness and proper handling. The method which I use regularly does not require a wooden spoon. All it requires it a paring knife and a bowl containing water. The first step is to cut the crown stem, in a cone shape, and bottom of the pomegranate in such a way that the seeds inside are just about exposed without suffering any cut. Now make 6 gentle cuts, at equal distances, and pry open the pomegranate. Take one of the pieces and extract all the seeds from that. Repeat the procedure for the next five pieces. While removing the pomegranate seeds, make sure that they fall in a bowl containing water. The benefit of doing this is that the seeds sink to the bottom while the white sour membrane floats to the top.

A pomegranate contains large amounts of Vitamin A, which is wonderful for your eyes and skin. I love eating pomegranates, and have overtime developed an easy technique to seed the fruit. The method is simple. Take a knife and cut the top in a cone shape and the bottom flat. Now place the pomegranate in simmering water for about three minutes and then after slicing it into two equal parts, use a wooden spoon to gently strike the covered portion of each part. The seeds will start falling down quickly and you can collect them in bowl containing water so that the seeds and the membranes are automatically separated. During this whole process, make sure that you are wearing an apron and some plastic sheet is also spread on the table on which you are working. The pomegranate stains are very hard to remove. If your hands react to the juice of pomegranates, you can wear gloves.
