I have a collection of sports signatures that I plan on selling on ebay. They are very valuable. I would like to know what is the best way to ship it without it getting damaged or stolen. Also, what is the best company to use? FedEx, UPS or the USPS?

  1. FedEx, and pay for the full insurance value.

  2. USPS registered mail with signature confirmation and insurance.

  3. It isn't actually your responsibility. Offer the option for insurance, and insure up to the amount it's worth. If the package gets destroyed on the way, your buyer will get the insurance money.

  4. I would suggest UPS because the insurance is included in the price and so is the tracking information. They are generally cheaper and you can schedule them to come to your house to pick up your package. The downside to using USPS is that they will charge you 1.20 per $200 for insurance, and the delievery confirmation will cost you an extra 0.60. =)
