What is the best way to sign a credit card?

Ive heard some cards its best to sign with block letters (I dunno why). Is there any really clever people here that know the best way to sign a credit card?

Where the signature goes, I write: "see ID". That way if someone gets my card, they have to produce my ID, too. If they look like a 54 year old redhead, I guess I'd be out of luck.

Um... You just sign it, with a ballpoint pen...

There is no best way, you just sign the card.  Do what you want.
