What is the best way to start racing Enduro?

I have been riding for one year... I am interested as I am an endurance runner. I ride a stroke Honda 235. any advice is much appreciated,,,, by the way, I live in Southern Cal.

Look into SuperMoto racing.  When I lived in San Diego, there was a club that started racing a few years ago between SD and LA but I can't remember the track.  

Check out www.supermotojunkie.com and/or call some of the local shops.  It's pretty easy to start racing and most clubs are very helpful and supportive.
