What is the best way to stop a thoroughbred race horse from digging/pawing in their stall?

  1. He is bored , and or needs more out time

    Bad habit to break

    Give him a out side pen like about 100x 100 and may be if he does get out alot and for hours get him a goat some horse dont like being in stalls to small of a place for him

    So find a place out side or build a run out in his stall

    But do something he is telling you he his NOT HAPPY


  2. dont think anyone can answer this question to me the horses that paw the ground just want to get on and race.. a lot of horses do it when they have been in stalls a long time i.e one of the first in ..in big fields 20 or more runners... ive seen some installed for up to 5 minutes before last one go,s in
