What is the best way to stop mosquito bites from itchingg??

i have like 7 mosquito bites on my legs and they itchh terribly.please tell me if you know any good ways to stop the itch? please answers:)

Some hydrocortisone cream usually helps stop the itching.  You can buy it at any drug store or WalMart.

dab a little ammonia around the area.  it smells awful, but it will get rid of the itch quickly.

Try Benadryl (diphenhydramine hydrochloride) ointment, and don't scratch!  The more you scratch, the worse it itches, and the more inflamed it gets.  I know it's hard not to, but it will really go away faster if you don't.

Everybody on here has some good suggestions...  but I didn't see anyone mention toothpaste.  That's what I use.

Prevention is the best medicine.  Take odorless garlic pills and you won't get bit.  I haven't had a mosquito bite in 8 years.

The bites are a minor allergic reaction.  Benadryl and Lanacaine.

Sometimes I push my nails onto the bite and make an "X". It does work.

Caladryl lotion, calamine lotion, alcohol, witch hazel, pop a benadryl.

Ugh, that was me, about a month ago.

I took Benadryl and used a spray called Dermoplast.  It did an okay job, but not great.  I'd give it a B+.  But my can is really old, and in the past (for things other than mosquito bites) it definitely deserved an A+.

Benadryl cream is great.  It has the antihistamine of Benadryl, but no drowsiness since it is used externally. It is available at any pharmacy without a prescription.
