I don't know why, but Target discontinued their blotting sheets, which was  a total disappointment to me. I was forced to buy the $5 Clean and Clear ones...

And yes, you can also get $1 packs from E.L.F. which work well.

Oil absorbing sheets. They remove the oil without messing up your makeup. You can buy clean & clear ones from the drugstore or order a pack from eyeslipsface.com

DO NOT BUY Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets these sheets CONTAIN MINERAL OIL, a known pore-clogger and can break you out.

Instead you can use a mattifying gel to get rid of all the oil on your face before you apply all your makeup.

Use a matte foundation.

Apply pressed or loose powder.

For touchups apply loose or pressed powder to your t-zone

Or use oil blotting sheets WITHOUT MINERAL OIL

i take a kleenex or some toilet paper and blot the oily spots.

but mineral powder has some types that absorb the oil

there is one by covergirl..maybe maybelline..that controls shine

mineral powder foundation and oil blotting sheets. also, rinse with warm water before and put on and oil free lotion after. use maybelline's minerals.

blotting paper - did you know that those toilet seat covers found in public restrooms are made of the same material as blotting sheets? if you dont believe me, try it out one day. same with tissue paper (the kind used for gifts and stuff). i find that it's a lot cheaper to buy a pack of tissue paper from the dollar store and cut it into pieces myself rather than buying a $5 pack of blotting paper from the store, which wouldnt last me nearly as long.

also, there's this stuff called Milk of Magnesia. you might think im crazy, but it's a milk that you drink to help with bowel movement, but it works amazingly well to stop shine throughout the day when you apply it directly to your face (with a cotton ball). google it up and see how it's helped others, or check out www.makeupalley.com for reviews.
