  1. ziplock bag in freezer

  2. They come with a plastic lid.

Put the lid on the can and put in in the fridge.

If you threw out the lid, find any air-tight jar and use that.

  3. From the Joy of Cooking: "The best way to store coffee beans, ground or whole, is in an opaque airtight canister at room temperature."

Never put coffee in your refrigerator, and only store your coffee in the freezer if you can't use it within two weeks.

Only place whole beans in the freezer, as ground coffee gets stale more quickly in any environment.

hope this helps.                  good luck and enjoy.

  4. In the fridge.

  5. place plastic wrap over the opening. Then store in somewhere where heat and moisture won't get to it, such as a cabient.

  6. The enemies of coffee are air, light and moisture.  NEVER put coffee in the refrigerator!!!  Coffee should ONLY be put in the freezer if it is still whole bean and cannot be used relatively quickly.  Store coffee in an airtight container that light can't through in a dry place.  Remember: an opened container of ground coffee will only stay fresh for one week.  At Starbucks, we throw out our coffee grounds at the end of the day.

  7. In a dark dry cupboard, not in the fridge. In the fridge it would pick up all kinds of odors.

  8. I just keep mine in the cabinet, that is cool.

  9. I keep my can of coffee in the fridge. on the can it tells you to keep the open can in the fridge to keep it fresh.

  10. Freezer it holds in the freshness

  11. Here's a cool tip.  Get the large size Folger's Coffee with the Aroma tight seal.  Then you can drink the coffee or just empty it out, but leave an inch of coffee on the bottom.  Then store your new coffee (the smaller size Folger's Coffee works great or bagged coffee) in the container.  The air has to get through the Folger's Aroma seal and then into the other container of coffee ( if you use the smaller size folger's it has to get through two aroma seals).  The layer of coffee at the botttom is supposed to react with the air that gets in.  The layer will go stale but that is what it is supposed to do.

  12. If you will use the coffee up fairly quickly, then keep it at room temperature. If your can came with a plastic lid, then that is sufficient. If your can has a metal lid and is the kind you open with a can opener, and there isn't a accompanying plastic lid, then purchase an airtight container (Target, WalMart, Container Store, etc.) and transfer the coffee into it, and store in your cupboard.

Anything you won't use up right away should be put in an airtight ziploc bag and frozen, up to a six weeks maximum.

  13. some people keep in fridge to keep fresh!

  14. Keep it in an airtight container in the freezer

  15. Store it in an airtight container in the freezer.

An airtight container is essential.  If you buy it in small amounts, you can store it in the fridge. But again...Airtight container.

  16. Don't put it in the fridge, sillies. The taking it out and putting it back in causes temp differences, = condensation = soggy coffee.

  17. well i would put saran wrap or tin foil over the opening to keep it maximum fresh

  18. freezer
