I would be willing to try some chemical straightening or relaxing on my hair, i just want straight hair without having to spend two hours with a flat iron every day.

  1. Japanese hair straightening. I think that works well; my friend tried it and it made her hair much less frizzy and more smooth. Then it would take you at most half an hour to fix your hair.

  2. use garnier frutis sleek and shine shampoo. its not damaging to your hair like straightening.

  3. get it permanently straightened. if thats not the direction you want to head, then when you get out of the shower, blow dry your hair with a paddle brush to straighten it out, then when you use a flatiron it wont take as long.

  4. Without having to resort to chemically altering your hair, rolling your hair in very large rollers will help relax the curl and frizz.  Roll your hair in sections and work from the top to the bottom.
