What is the best way to straighten hair?

ok well i have tried to straighten my hair but nothing works i need some help what can i do to get it like really straight and then when i finish like "straightening" it it gets like really dry so please help me Thank you

before you use a flat iron or straightener, use a protective oil on your hair, they sell it at walmart or target and it is made by the company chi. it is in a tan bottle with red letters.

Straighten it in layers, and before your hair dries, like when you get out of the shower, put some gel and heat resistance in it, it will protect your hair from burning and it will make your hair look glossy and shiny.

first, spray a heat protector

like TRESemme' heat tamer spray

so your hair stays healthy

second,

section your hair [dont make the sections too big]

and clip up the rest.

straighten, straighten,

and then keep doing the rest of the sections

once you're done

try using a small amount

of Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine

[dont use too much otherwise your hair will look greasy]

spread it out on your hands, and then rub it all over your hair

and that'll give it shine

put oil and grease before and after u straighten ur hair.

First - Take a like, 2 inch section of hair

Second - slowly, and I mean slowly ! Run the straightener down that 2 inch section. Then it should be straight.

Third - continue with your whole head. It takes a while, but its worth it.

try pink oil lotion  from the hair supply store after you wash your hair,  like a dollop depending on the lenght of  your hair  then blow dry your hair. it helps to keep it straight  and also protect the hair from heat damage. some people use a hot comb  or a flat iron depending on their hair type. hope this helps also experiment with the different suggestion  to see what works best.

do not get hair grease it fries your hair like an egg an a pan, you can us a little moisturizer, i don't know what the texture of your hair is,  i suggest a alberto vo5 got oil treatment style as usual use alberto hair dress for the ends it is not heavy and a dab of it will take you a long way it will not make your hair heavy give it a nice shine, or get some doo grow hair triple strength anti breakage same instructions as above, i use those products in mine and my children's hair and we have beautiful hair.
