I have a 2005 F150 supercrew 4x4 with a 5.4 v8. I am looking for suggestions on the best way to haul my car with it. My car is a 2008 scion tc. I have a 2005 carson utility trailer. It is 16 ft long with a capacity of 7000lbs. Brakes and all that are good on the truck and trailer. the problem is that I have 12in high sides and the car sits so low that straping it just don't look right. I am used to hauling more along the bounds of 40 tons but this just aint sitting right. Oh by the way I have 4 10,000lbs straps to bind it with. Any thoughs would be helpful. Thanks. Oh I am going from Ca to Ky. 2300 miles.

  2. Looks like you already answered your own question, just use the straps.......

  3. The best way to do it is use have axle straps. If you don't have them then strap the car from the frame at the right rear to the left rear of the trailer. Then with another strap go from the left rear of the car to the right rear of the trailer. Making a "X" using the straps. Do the same with the front and you will be fine. I tow many cars some lighter  and some heavier then the TC. But do as I say and you will be fine.
