I am a senior, and i have yet to even pick up a book that helps me study for the SAT and ACT. My school does not even offer it for free so you have a choice of taking it or not. I am for sure taking it but which is the best way to study for it?

What books are good?

I am not great at math and have a hard time with it, so how can i pass that.. what should i be studying?

thanks!

  1. focus your efforts on math, get SAT math books and learn which TYPE of problems to expect. also get an SAT word list and memorize those, that is useful for those analogies

  2. Hurry! You have until September 9th to register for the October 4th SAT. There is a big book called The Official SAT Study Guide. I am going to buy it because I heard it helps a lot. Also, at College Board.com you can get the SAT question of the day in your e-mail. Good luck on your test!

You can also buy something on your iPod to help you study.

  3. ur screwed, all states offer the SAT and most schools dont offer it for free, its run by collegeboard.com. if u havent signed up already u missed the deadline to register for the act which is sept 13th and the sat is oct 4th. i really dont understand why people dont prepare or think its important, these tests make a huge impact on where u get acceepted to school.
