I plan to take the license master of social work exam soon (not the clinical or advance generalist) and I would like some study tips and suggestions that can help me pass.

You really need to learn how to answer the questions in they way THEY want you to answer them.  This does not necessarily mean the RIGHT or the BEST answer - or what you would really do.  Be sure to take the practice tests and understand when you get an answer wrong why you got it wrong.  The tests are highly biased and don't reflect reality.
