SHUT our borders. Allow people to enter our country from overseas at ONE highly secure, closely monitored location, whether it be air, land, or sea. For liberals who think this idea is communist in nature, they can instead see it as a way to protect our own...including the liberals.

Address the underlying concerns of terrorism and discuss our positions with the people in power while we actively pursue those responsible and hold them account able. Just being over in the Middle East fighting wars that had nothing to do with terrorism incites more hatred toward the US and we are now prompting more people who would have been neutral to align themselves with the terrorists. Meanwhile OBL is in Pakistan and free to plot more terrorist attacks. Furthermore spreading democracy at the end of a barrel will hurt us in the long run. After being responsible for killing uncountable amounts people in Iraq how do you think they are going to vote when they have free elections. They are going to vote for anti American candidates to rid themselves of American influence.

Take them out on their home turf.  They're going to hate the democratic way of life irregardless what we do.  If we all "converted to Islam" like they say, then we would still not be considered worthy in their eyes.  You can't reason with insanity.

Education and employment.

Innocent people (especially youngsters or those who are struggling to support their rice bowl everyday) are dragged and forced into this.

The first reason is, they are so free to listen to these kind of people.

Once they are occupied with a job they don't have time for these kind of activities. Once they earn their own money they'll be self sufficient and they won't go after money.

So opening up job opportunities will help substantially.

Secondly education. People has to be given the right education to be able to sort out things (right and wrong, good and bad deeds). So they need to be patriotic towards the nation so that they don't dare to kill innocent people for the sake of money.

To tackle terrorism, is like stopping the drug traffic.  Once it's on your street, there is little you can do about it. However, these are very sadistic people committing terrorism, even if they do, use religion as a back drop cause, to kill people.  

First....I would suggest, no quarter given, when we find these people.

No trial, just a bullet.

Second...Help the poor of a country, build schools and things that really contribute to a country.

Third....Get tough and make other countries find these terrorists.

Fourth....These terrorists have families and they should suffer in ways to reflect that crime.  Freedom has a price, so terrorism should also.

Fifth....Get tough...is the answer and make the price of terrorism greater than the loss they inflict.  

I know these replies seem harsh, but your dealing with terror...fight back in the same way.
