  1. I've always heard club soda is the best way - just google it!  Use a dry towel and press it into the carpet until you absorb as much moisture - repeat with a clean towel (regular or paper) until it comes out clean.  Don't rub it around at all.  Then pour a bit of club soda right on the spot and repeat the towel thing.

  2. Take a look at tip No. 23 on the page given below.  It gives detailed instructions.

    Best of luck.

  3. Use some white wine on the spot, then blot it up with a paper towel.

  4. resolve carpet cleaner, several times, and blot do not rub, if you have a shamwow they work when its first done, or to soak up the carpet cleaner. bless your heart i've done it too !!

  5. Oxi-Clean. Takes it right out. Follow directions and don't use more than recommended.

  6. No disrespect to all others....but please do not do anything they said. Those procedures will likely cause more problems.

Red wine is actually the easiest stain to remove from synthetic carpet. In fact, anyone can remove red wine.

Simply apply Hydrogen Peroxide to the stain and walk away. After several hours it should lighten and disappear. It may need another treatment or two to fully remove the stain.

Brown bottle hydrogen peroxide will not bleach synthetic carpet (nylon, olefin, polyester)

If you don't believe me try in on a scrap piece of carpet. It works every time and it 100% safe.

Brown bottle (consumer) hydrogen peroxide is 3%. Professional products for wine removal contain 7-10% hydrogen peroxide and work faster and do not discolor carpet.
