  1. Take something that is offered directly by the cruise ship that you are on.   When I have gone on cruises, we always register for our excursions as soon as we get on the ship to make sure that we get the ones that we want.  If you go through the cruise line, you are going with a preferred vendor and it is safer and nicer.  Also, if something happens to make your trip run late, the ship will wait for you.  They don't always know if you are running late and will miss the ship if you go off on your own.

  2. First things first, are you on a cruise?

If so, you can go on-line to the cruise lines you are on and pull up excursion itinerary, read all of the items offered and book prior to boarding.

If this is not an option, you will have to book any and all excursions through the excursion desk on board. Stay with the excursion contractors that the cruise line offers because they have been checked out for your safety. Warning.....get there early or you will not get what you want. Always ask if the excursion you want is compable to you by the cruise line.

    Good luck and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Sign up to cruisecritic.com and go to roll call and see if anyone else is on your cruise and looking to share excursions..if not book with the cruiselines.
