  1. Going there would be a good start.

  2. Hi, It all depends on whether they are alive or passed on. I've spent the last thirty years doing family research and only recently, finally discovered my great, great, great grandparents who lived in Buckinghamshire. I was able to do this through a website www.genesreunited.co.uk which was extremely helpful.

But if the person you are looking for is still in the land of the living, check out the online telephone directory for the area, as well as, the local council registrar where people are obliged to list their names and addresses for voting purposes. You just might be lucky. Good luck!

  3. Try putting their  name into facebook.

  4. Go to the library and look on the electoral role.

I do wonder about people searches though. I mean, if they wanted you to know where they were they would tell you surely?

  5. If the person is over 18 the name may be on the Electoral roll which you could brouse at the Public Library.  If however the person has a common name it may be a case of mistaken identity.

  6. PUT an ad in the local paper.

  7. go to google and search the electoral role.

  8. 192.com

    The Salvation Army

Genes Reunited - I recently found someone I thought was dead on this.

    The Local Pub!
