I have a new puppy and almost every time we get close to home at the end of a walk she starts to act up, passive aggressively she sits or lays and refuses to move, agressively she tries to attack her leash and or my hand.

  1. Whack her!

  2. Take her to some obediance classes. They are usually once a week for about an hour. they are usually guaranteed. Check with your local pet store!

  3. Yes, try some obedience classes.  You could also try a professional trainer.

  4. when she is trying to get to your house when getting done with a walk it is because that is her home place and that is where she feels safe. my dog does that to. she is a golden retriever to. but fully grown.all she does is sleep and beg for food lol but she is the sweetest dog in the world and the lazy-est lol. when your dog does something she isnt suppose to then just yell out NO. and when she tryes to to bite your hand or leash than just smack her on the head or nose lighly. and say NO.

  5. She may need more exercise. Not only physical but mental exercise.

Start training her at home, such as; sit, lay down etc. (clicker training is the best way)

    Training classes will help also.

  6. Be stern with her and tell her no. She just wants to stay out side.  Maybe you should take a longer walk to make her tired or go to the dog park and play ball.  Any way you need to be the boss don't let her think she is.
