Question:

What is the best way to train for a 1.5 mile run?

It will be done on a cross-country course so on grass or something close to it.

  1. the best way to train is go slowly into it, if you are out of shape. like run a mile, and once you get used to that. run 1.5 mile. then 2 mile. and so on. 3 miles would be best to stop at. oh, and have good running shoes ! :)


  2. well i think i have great info for your problem..welll i used to train because i was a runner back in the days..so yeah what i did was that i started out running at the mountains up hill for faster speed on flat ground..i also ran up the bleachers at my school for more foot speed which helps alot. all this helps you more more speed but you also gotta train for endurance like running alot more.it also hepls to run with a couple of hand weights or ankle weights...also u can also train on a treadmill which is easier and less impact on your legs but i recommend most of the time in concrete or which ever terrain but not a bumpy one...if u have any questions which u want me to clear out let me know..hope this helps

  3. get up to at  least 3 and run it at your 1.5 pace so then when you only run 1.5 its super easy
