  1. Inside the freaken car.

between the front seats, or over the passenger seat. Easy.

  2. rope, or like the guy said bungee straps. no need to get all expensive on racks, just know how to make it secure to where it dont damage your board, or your board fly off the roof. noooot cool

  3. yeah get some board roof straps, or try and fit it in the car, when i was starting out we could fit an 8 ft in our tiny car, you'd be surprised!

  4. Most guys put their surfboards on top of the car with a bungy strap.

  5. you can buy a soft rack which is like 40-50 dollars..

or some back seats of cars fold down i dont know if a le sabre does but if its a shortboard you can stick it in the trunk and with the back seat folded down it could fit depending on the size

  6. sometimes i ride my bike; i have a rack to hold my surfboard on it. but if you're two miles, that's somewhat of a long way to ride with a board. so your other option is to buy a rack for your car. soft racks (fcs, block surf, or some other brand) are less than $50. hard racks (block surf makes the "snubber" for cars with rain gutters and the "surfer" for gutterless cars) are aroung $100. if you really want a top of the line rack, try a thule or yakima system. they're nice, but expensive, and honestly, you can get by just fine with soft racks. i use the fcs ones and they're great.

oh, you could also always just put the boards in the car, depending on the size of your boards, how many you're carrying, and the type of car you have.

  7. yeah either ride our bike or invest in some a soft rake.

  8. Do you have a shortboard? If you do then you can just put it in the front passenger seat. You would have to sit in the back but you wouldn't be wasting time tying your board on the roof. And you wouldn't be putting pressure dings in your board or denting the top of your grandma's Buick :)
