What is the best way to transport files from one computer to another?

I am getting a new computer, and I have a lot of picture and music files. What is the best way to move them from my old computer to the new one?

My disk drive is broken, so if it has anything to do with using a CD, it won't work.

Try a usb pen! plug it in, drag and drop the files, then plug into the new pc.. easy as that! You can get them in very large sizes.

Another option is using an external hard drive..but that's a bit more complicated, but will hold more files.

At this point in time a Memory Stick of decent size (8 Gig or so) will get my best vote for your situation.

Unless of course you can establish a LAN connection between the 2 and transfer files that way.
