What is the best way to transport three house cats from wash. to montana??

We are relocating to montana and will take the cats with us.The problem is, the cats don't ride well in the car so 12-13-hours will be stressfull on all of us,any help would be greatful.Thanks,jimB....

Have your vet give you some tranquilizers(for the cats!lol)We moved once with a cat and made the mistake of letting the cat see where we were going and when we let him out he left and headed back home.40 miles but he made it!So transport them in a pet carrier and don't let them see!
