Basically I want a few options for travelling from Heathrow to Newcastle, the cheapest, fastest and easiest, I guess easiest being the most important because Ive never been to England before. Is the airport and transportation system user friendly? Im currently travelling around Asia so have no fixed address before arriving in England... and this seems to make a difference for purchasing train tickets. Any help is appreciated.

  1. One route Id do is by train from T3 to Kings Cross and then get on a train to Newcastle.  50 mins to Kings Cross Station and then about 4 hours to Newcastle.  As long as you book weeks ahead then you can get a cheap deal.  Even pick the tickets up at the station.  Alternatively get a cheap flight from Heathrow to Newcastle airport which will cost less and be quicker.  Easyjet, BMI, RyanAir, FlyBe will have routes all over the UK

  2. try a price compassion site for tickets their is one on it pays to watch website
