i went snowboarding and got some dirt and grass stains on it. i tried scrubing it off with a sponge but it wouldnt come off. is it good to put it in the washer machine and dry it? thanks

Most fabrics can be washed in a machine.  There should be care instructions with the garment, or check on the manufacturer's website.  Use a specialist product like Nikwax (available from outdoor equipment stores).
