  1. i think you shoild wait till the last minute that way you have a GREATER chance of getting it

  2. You just have to keep your eye on it and keep upping your bid all day if you want it bad enough. I am assuming this item didn't have a BUY IT NOW offer? It is frusterating I know, but thats the only way....I LOVE EBAY

  3. Waiting to the last minute usually works from what I have seen.  It also helps prevent a bid war where two people just keep driving up the price because both want the item.

  4. wait until the last minute and bid the highest. good luck!

  5. My experience with eBay is that it is hit or miss, if I really want something I have started using the bid assistant.  I got a Wii for the price I wanted, it took a couple of days but I got it.  But it sounds like you do not have time so I would put in another bid close to the top price you are willing to pay, be sure to check to see how much they are charging for shipping, and if you are still outbid then yes wait until just before it ends and rebid.  If you are outbid at the last minute still do not fret, you can contact the buyer and let them know you are interested and if the buyer does not follow through you would love to have a second chance at it.

  6. allow your pocket to decrease your bid.

  7. Bid the highest?

Really, what your talking about is called sniping - bidding very late. It does work but be prepared to lose if you don't bid enough and run out of time.

  8. put in the maximum amount you are willing to spend.

And if you our outbided ebay will bid then 4 u.

  9. the waiting til the last minute never works for me, it really is hit and miss, especially if there are multiple bidders who are very interested. and the bid sniper or whatever is good in theory unless multiple people use it. i just always put in my maximum bid and if i win... great. if not, oh well.

  10. Use auctionsniper.com. You can set it to bid for you with 10 seconds left in the auction. You have to make sure you bid enough money, though. good luck!

  11. Bid within the last 20 seconds.   By the way, if you want to know a way to get some money back any time you buy something from Ebay, then send me an email.
