I have yet to play a game in the rain, but playing on a dry field hurts more when you get tackled/tackle

Rugby is definitely an all weather sport. If its cold and rainy, the adrenaline pumping really warms you up and the mud makes the game so much fun but if its sunny and warm, the weather hypes you up that you feel like you can play forever. However, I find windy days to be unappealing simply because in penalty plays and lineouts, kicking and throwing is quite difficult going against the wind. My favorite time to play is a warm, fall, cloudy day. MMMM perfection.
