What is the best website host for a website about art and the artist? I need great graphics, flash, quality..?

I need to host a website for an artist that contains a lot of pictures, flash..pretty much high quality graphics. I'm not concerned with price as much as quality..

what is the best web hosting service for that? so far i like bluehost but im not sure how well it works for the graphics...

also, i have adobe dreamweaver cs3...is that a good program to use for this kind of website? what programs are?

and what website hosting service works with dreamweaver?

New developer!!! Welcome to the field. Well if price isn't an issue definitely go with the best verio.com. They have the fastest hosting in the world they are owned by ntt communications.(largest communication company in the world) They actually help control dns. So if you want a fast host use verio. BTW: if you actually want to learn to code dont use dreamweaver it makes everything too simple so when you actually want to make custom stuff you dont know how. Use microsoft visual web dev 2008 its free :D

Take a look at: http://bluehost-service.atspace.com . As an experienced webmaster I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. Basically, all web hosts will work with dreamweaver - the protocol used for file transfer is usually FTP, so it's widely supported. As for graphics and flash, again, this is pretty standard stuff that is well supported on almost all web hosts. The only real difference comes in terms of reliability, customer service and marketing.  A lot of companies will claim unlimited storage and bandwidth, but that is just a marketing gimmick and subject to many conditions. IT's better to have a company that is truthful about its claims than to make outrageous claims. Even Google, it probably has more data centers THAN ANY web host providers will be able to provide unlimited storage and bandwidth of users. It just doesn't make economic sense.

Dreamweaver is a great program to use and is highly recommend it. For hosting, I would recommend you look at Netfirms: http://tinyurl.com/netfirms . They have been in business for over 10 years and have a broad customer base. Cheapest isn't always the best and they are definitely not the cheapest. But they do offer quality and great support with real customer service people answering the phones.

It isn't so much what software is good for what site and then you buy the software and you make the site.  If you have the skills you might just use notepad and a template.

Someone knowledgeable  can knock up a gallery type site containing 20.000 photos in about 15 minutes just by using this or that gallery software coupled up with a template.

Dreamweaver is website software and webhosters host websites. So any host will work with sites made using Dreamweaver.

After having tried them both, I prefer IX to bluehost.
