  1. My brother-in-law's wedding was the best I've ever been to. It was classy and formal but not stuffy, fun but not out of control. The food was amazing and they had a great band!

  2. Mine ;)

No, seriously, the best wedding I ever went to was a friends. She always came off as, "well-to-do," in my opinion so I went to her wedding thinking it was going to be some huge formal gala... it wasn't. It was "simple, yet elegant." It was obvious she wasn't trying to "show-off" or outdo anyone. You could tell she put the marriage first and foremost and wasn't so focused on a big fancy show.

I wish more brides were like her.

  3. My brother's was pretty great.  They had the reception at a club and first there was an elegant dinner.  The room had long windows overlooking the gorgeous lawns.  Then everyone got up and went downstairs where it was set up like a club.  They first did the Tequila dance from Pee Wee Herman with their friends and then they got everyone up doing it.  I still laugh myself baldheaded when I think of all those elderly aunts and uncles, grandmas, etc, up there doing the Tequila dance.

The key was they hired this really funny MC.  He got everyone moving and not just sitting around.  I hated for that night to end it was so much fun.

  4. My very own was the friggen best because everyone including my wife and I had a blast.Everyone still talks about to this day and it was in May 2000.My wife's best friends was the second best because we were do all types of fun stuff, like dancing on tables and singin out loud.God I love weddings.

  5. An elegant wedding hosted by very gracious and well mannered hosts that treated their guests like loyalty and were hanritten thank you cards were promply. The bride and groom and their parents visited with each and alll of the guests. People were entretanined and well fed and we had a very good time. It was very elegant, but with zero extravagance.

    Good luck
