  1. The wineries in Temecula are so close together.  I recommend that you drive yourself from winery to winery unless you plan on really drinking too much to be driving.

South Coast has beautiful grounds and a nice gift shop.  Thornton is a great place to sit and relax with a flight of different sparkling wines.  Weins Family has lots of good wines.  Go to Palomar if you like Port.  Many people love the almond champagne at Wilson Creek and it's a nice place to go.  For a complete listing and info on all the Temecula wineries visit http://www.cheers2wine.com/Temecula-wine...

This same website also has free wine tasting coupons that you can print.  The coupons for selected wineries in Temecula are 2 tastings for the price of 1.

  2. I really enjoyed Valley Trolley. They have the best price and its a nice trolley ride around town. It is not a limo ride, but it includes lunch.

  3. I lived near there for 12 years, and never really heard of an "organized" tour.  We just went south on the 15 Freeway, and got off at the 79 exit in Temecula.  Go left (under the freeway) and continue on 79.  That's where all the wineries are, and you just stop where you want for tastings.  Some of them have large grassy grounds, and sell lunch.  In the summer, some of them have entertainment too.  You can check the City of Temecula website for any special events; and they'll even send you brochures on the wineries......
