my friend who lives up the road has a TP Link, TL-WN620G, 802.11g , 108Mbps and he can pick up wireless networks 50-100 metres away from his house indoors. his is fairly old and i want to know if there is a stronger dongle i can use to get around or more range then he does. and how big a difference does the length of a firewire usb cable have an effect on it and he also has a usb dongle satelite dish to boost his range to over 3km (but he doesnt use) is it worth investing in one for closer networks to get a larger signal. he has a 2 story house and mine is only 1 level will that make a difference on things...
