  1. Brands for you - Rome, Nitro, Gnu, K2, Apo, Burton, Option, Lib Tech, Forum, Dinosaurs will die, Capita, Bataleon are to name but a few.

I think the best thing for you to do, is check out each of these websites, the websites usually have a scale of price, fexibility, type of conditions each board best suits (Jib/Park, Powder, all mountain etc. I mean are you a beginner? you sound like you are, so you should ideally get a board thats suited to beginners as there is no point getting something that is too advanced as you wont be able to control it. You should also check out review forums of snowboards, go into a local shop and speak to someone about what it is you need, or even better go and test some boards before you buy. There are so many boards out there that you need to narrow down your search to best suit your needs. Buy snowboard mags as they are always reviewing snowboards, it'll help you understand more about them and exactly what you want.

I have a Nitro NYX just now but I'm going for something more flexible this winter, perhaps something like a Capita Stair master, these are pretty flexible, one of the most flexible board I know at the moment is a Skate Banana, quite a few of my friends had this board last season and said it was great and really helped them progress in the park and basic messing around on piste, buttering and jibbing around.

Hope I've helped and hope you find an awesome board!
