What is the best womens hybrid bicycle for under $300?

For under $300 it is going to be hard  to find a good hybrid.  The only thing that I can think of would be a Forge.  They are only sold through Target and you have to mail order them.  They are not your typical  cheap bikes sold by the big box stores.

I bought a Forge Saranac just a month ago and love it, already have about 300 miles on it.  The only thing is you have to assemble it and made the adjustments or pay a bike shop to do it.  See the link below.

It wont hurt to check out the local shops to see what they have and they can tell you the correct size you need.
