They are all good players, but I think the duo of Toews and Kane are slightly better than Gagne and Cogliano.

Toews and Kane will bring the cup back to Chicago.

Toews and Kane have made quite the duo in the Windy City and have brought back a passion there that had been lost for some time.  But who knows, in the future those young Edmonton kids might be perenial Cup contenders.

Toews and Kane by a sizeable margin now, and even moreso in 5 years.  Toews and Kane will prove to be franchise saviors in Chicago.  They are the future of the club.  Kane has excellent vision and playmaking ability, and Toews is already exhibiting great leadership, strength, as well as heads up two-way play.  Should he remain healthy, he will soon be one of the league's top 5 all around guys.  I don't need to emphasize his offensive ability.

I'm not saying Cogliano and Gagner aren't impressive, I just think they're not quite on the same level.  Close, but not quite.

Toews and Kane have combined for .863 points per game.  Gagner and Cogliano have combined for .584 points per game.  Thats a pretty big difference.  Kane just won the Calder and Toews has been getting compared to Yzerman since before he was even drafted.  Things could definitly change, I mean all of them have only played one year, but if I had to bet on who will have the better careers, I would definitly put my money on the Chicago kids.  Nothing against Gagner or Cogliano though.  Both wil likely turn out to be great players, I just see Kane and Toews being better.

Toews and Kane are a few steps ahead of Cogliano and Gagner right now, but that is quite the matchup.  I think Toews is the most skilled out of the bunch, but the other three are very close.  I think that Toews and Kane edge out Cogliano and Gagner though.
