  1. Cleveland... very industrial, co-co-cold in winter, lots of snow, right on Lake Erie, good for water & ice sports, The Browns, 4 seasons, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, lots of crime. not terribly expensive to live, but nor hurricanes or sand storms...just an occasional blizzard or tornado. Johns Hopkins and Cleveland Clinic are close. Some nightlife... but the Flats are dying.

Pensacola ... multiple hurricanes, beautiful scenery, higher cost of living because it's on the coast, not alot of manufacturing, tourist based infrastructure, one season all year long, hot, hot, hot summer. Not a big night scene. Close to beach ...some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, in fact. Nothing but palm trees. Did I mention hurricanes and regular evacuations?

Houston ... very afforadable housing, you can get a huge house for less money than you'd pay in either of the other 2 cities. Good school system, good hospitals, good highways, laid back good-ole-boy atmosphere, lots of barbeque. Not near the beach for miles, but you can ride horses every day if you live in the burbs. Have a gun rack in your truck, lots of country music stations, but still a pretty cosmopolitan city. Good night life for younger party animals.
