What is the better place to stay at in Paris, a hostel or Hotel?

I like the security of a Hotel, but the hostel is cheap...And also what is a good cheap hotel or hostel if you can recommend one.

Try Accor. Hotel Formule1 - its kind of both. Otherwise go Hostel - so you can meet people. Its really fun.
