What is the better thing to do? Participate in the Avon walk or volunteer at it?

I signed up to do the Avon walk and raised over $2,100 already (minimum to raise is $1,800). I want to walk but then thought about it...volunteering would feel better b/c I would be helping.

Would you walk or volunteer if you were in my situation?

Thanks.

  1. Either way helps.  Since you signed up to walk and raised money based on your walking better keep your word so ppl will trust you another time.

  2. wow, good for you. that is a lot of money.

if you think that volunteering would make you feel better, then do that one.

I know it is supposed to be volunteer, which means you get nothing back, but doing something good so you can have that good feeling doesn't take away from the fact that you helped.

  3. You've already taken care of the hardest part, and really the only part of the walk that matters- raising the money.  Either one is fine, but if you would rather volunteer I say go for it!   Not walking won't take away from the fact that you well surpassed your fund raising goal.  Congrats!

  4. If I could walk I definitely would walkm in th avon walk . either one you do  is wonderful. Thank you for  doing ! I sell Avon!lol

  5. If money was raised to walk that's what you should do.

  6. i think you should choose whichever you feel will best help the cause and bless you for reaching out to help those in need.
