They are affected by laws. Why is it that felons cannot vote? What if they have improved their lives and are now better? I mean isnt that the real reason those systems are in place, to improve a bad person and make them good? SO why is it when a person has to live with the laws of the country, they are not allowed to vote on it?

  1. felons lose their right to vote, it is part of their punishment

  2. Your voting rights vary by state. I didn't think i could vote either until a voter registar in Ut. told me you can't vote while incarcerated, but can register and vote once back in society. I have. Not that it matters, Super delegates SUCK!

  3. Come to Canada.  We embrace our immoral society.  We fight for the rights of those who choose to live outside of the law.  We even pay disability for things as minor as a hangnail.  Come on it we'd love to have you. F**** America!

  4. Rules are rules.

It isnt like "surprise! you cant vote anymore". It is well known that you can lose your voter rights if convicted of a felony. The ever present ACLU is taking a case to court in Alabama right now, because thats what they do....undermine our laws on behalf of criminals, and attack Christian religion.

  5. The Founding Fathers did not want the criminal element to have ANY say in the running of the government.

Until recent times prison was a punishment for crimes committed, not a day care for social misfits as it is today. The Judicial system of today is bending over backwards to make society feel bad about the poor misguided soul that they have so cruelly forced into these collection centers.

I would prefer that the US go back to the prison for punishment system. It isn't My fault that some rebellious over aged child refuses to make right choices and becomes a thief or murderer.

By going back to the PENAL system we may be able to keep the US from becoming LIKE CAN-DA-DA or Thailand. And Yes, you folks are quite welcome to keep our escaped perverts, deviates and criminals.

  6. move to thailand like I am. I have a misdemeanor and it prevents me from doing lots of things in usa, completely vindictive society and I've had enough of it.
