  1. No, it wouldn't. Hundreds of thousands of teenage girls are pregnant in this country, what makes her any different?

  2. The little ho should be married.

  3. it is no big deal... but ignorant people like to put other people down just to make themselves feel better...

it's really sad it makes me feel like i'm back in high school with all the bullies around picking on people...

teen pregnancy is an easy fix!

and if people would just use there brain they could easily figure out how to prevent they kids from having unsafe s*x....

    i figured it out...

i gonna be best friends with my kids i'm gonna tell them how the world is i'm not gonna sugar coat anything... and when they are ready to have s*x whearth it's 13 or 18 they will tell me and i won't yell i'll just buy them condoms and birth control...

there i solved the big dilemma about teen pregnancy...

  4. the big deal is here she is preaching about all this absinece **** and then she cant even get it across to her kid

  5. It is more dirt to throw at a candidate and the VP nominee. I hate that each candidate throws dirt at the other. We need to have "clean" elections. Talk about your strengths, and what you plan to do for the country and let the other candidate talk about his strengths.

  6. the big deal is that palin supports abstinence only education (proven to increase teen pregnancy rates), cut state funding for an alaska non-profit that helps pregnant teenagers who have been kicked out of their houses, and is a firm conservative evangelical - a group of people who routinely call teenage and out of wedlock pregnancies a "moral disaster." they argue that simply a strong focus on "family values" will keep teenagers out of each others' pants. the hypocrisy here is overwhelming. no one cares that the girl is pregnant. just sucks that it seems like she was pressured into marrying the father.

  7. She's a teen who's pregnant and not married.

but who gives a sh**. That doesnt make Palin a bad v.p.

The dem's just can't find anything bad so they're targeting her family.

    McCain/Palin '08

    NObama!

  8. None, What's a trailer park without a tart like Bristol.

  9. well i'm sure it would've made a LITTLE difference had she been 18, (she had s*x/got pregnant at 16)

but i think the big deal is that she IS underage and is unmarried.

i know it wasn't Palin's doing, but it seems a little hypocritcal of her considering her politcal positions....

  10. The only big deal is that Palin presents herself as a paragon of "family values".

  11. Are you freakin serious?  This woman wants to run the country and she can't even make sure that her own daughter knows how to have safe s*x.  She wants to take s*x ed away in order to promote abstinence, when her own daughter has PROVEN that abstinence only views are just plain illogical.  Yes it would matter if she was 18, but the fact of the matter is, she's not an adult yet.  Her mother should have been logical and explainedthatwhile abstinence is the BEST chioce, that there are ways to protect against disease and pregnancy if she was to choose to have s*x.

  12. / Strange isn't it?

She is 17, unwed, pregnant, in love with the father of her child (as he is with her), and they will wed out of that love before the birth of their child.

The strange thing I don't understand from Democrats who find this appauling, is that Obama's mother was 17, unwed, and pregnant in Nov. 1960.

She and Barak's father married in February 1961, and Obama was born in August.

I don't see anything wrong with either one of the above mentioned women keeping their babies.  That's a wonderful thing.

  13. It would make a difference if this was 1800's.

It shouldn't be an issue but it gets people to turn on the TV.  It also distracts from her real issues.

  14. Actually legal age of consent in Alaska is 16. So she has the right to have s*x if she wants.

  15. Um, why do Republicans keep bringing this up? Do Republicans have any issues to discuss or do they just wanna discuss what someone on a blog said?

  16. It is a private family matter - hers!

Democrats and the Press need to leave her alone!

  17. Palin preaches abstinence and she can't even get the message across to her kids - not a very effective individual if you ask me.

  18. Those who oppose Senator McCain are making a big deal out of it because of family values issues.  Those who are loudest misunderstand family values.

Family values isn't preventing teen pregnancy; it's about supporting that child despite their mistake, and guiding them to make the right decision.

Family values isn't about forcing a child to have a baby; family values is teaching a child to value all life so if they do get themselves pregnant, they don't want an abortion.

Family values is about making your child live up to the consequences of their actions yet giving them the love they deserve through it.

You're right, it shouldn't be a big deal.  Making it one, to me, shows the shallowness of the arguments of those attacking her.

  19. It's funny when a teenager becomes pregnant she's called a Ho. But when they effing around and don't get pregnant they are good girls .Well gimme a flipping break.Don't call people Ho because you would not want someone to call your Mother / Sister/ Daughter that name.Jeremy shame on you,you have no respect for women.....bd

  20. I agree, if this was Obama's daughter, nobody would be freaking out. Yes, Palin preaches abstinence. But thats her belief, not necessarily her daughters. Plus, you cannot stop a teenager from having s*x. If they want to do it, they will find a way. Yes, she made a mistake and got pregnant, but atleast she's being responsible and getting married, not taking the selfish, easy way out and getting an abortion. Which is more than you can say for many adults.

  21. One of the only rocks NBC and the DNC can come up to throw at her.

  22. I dunno. My aunt has had that happen. It was years ago and she and the guy have four kids and inheireted the farm and they do okay. It happens. Nobody in my family refers to it and all is well.

  23. It is only a big deal because the news media was looking for something...anything...to say bad about her.  I think the girl and her fiance show great maturity and responsibility to not run and hide from this, or take the easy way out.

  24. I dont think its the fact that she is pregnant but the fact that her mother is running for vice president of this country and pushes for abstinence (no s*x before marriage) and all that. Then the fact that her 17 year old daughter is pregnant is to them showing she cant even take care of her own family. so how can she take care of this country. I dont see it ...because when I was 17 I did everything my parents didnt want me to do. I can see where they are coming from but I like the fact that we have a true American who is going through some of the same problems are families go through.. MCCAIN PALIN 08

  25. So goes life in America, even she likely knows that a baby now in her life will be difficult but has been brought-up in a family with a strong belief in doing what it takes to make ones own deeds right, and will prevail with strength of character that won't be found in a young woman who views a baby as punishment.
