Trout fishing gear can range from a cane pole and a can of worms to a graphite rod weighing ounces and a fly too tiny to be easily seen. The  excitement of a trout strike is  long remembered is as all those that got away. Trout fishing is a way to spend time outdoors with never being bored.

They are stocked to provide fish for catching. They are easy to raise.  People like to catch them. Private clubs have been doing this for 200 years. Local governments for 100 years.
