What is the big deal with the Chevy Z06?

Common', Z06 is soo overrated, its for old people (mostly), yea its fast, but you cant drive in winter, its back wheel drive and handleing pretty much (im sorry to say it sucks) my bro has one. Also its a bumpy ride, its also very common and its in my opinion not so great looking. This is all my opinion, give me yours.

HHHMMMM   LETS SEE..... until you own one you'll never really know . its an incredible car that can compete with some of the worlds best road cars with out modification. cant say that about  too many cars. it an affordable race car for the person that can drive. now mind you it can be driven by any old lady too. it was designed to be the car that anyone could own and drive abd to have all th performance possible on the street. the handling is nothing short of incredible for a factory car. you need to drive it like you stole it ! then you'll understand. the the z06 package is siff for a reason. you can buy the vette with the other packages that lighten the ride a bit but, why? its a sports car and, if you want a nice smooth ride , buy a benz.

Let me guess, your Honda Civic with cheese ball exhaust is the better car, right? If you have to question a world class sports car at a real world price with amazing fuel economy , you're never going to understand.

The Z06 is not overrated. It is a 70k car that can hang with cars that cost 200k OR MORE. You can drive it in winter, if you have any real skill as a driver, which is needed to handle a car like the Z06. It is NOT a car for old people, it is a car for those concerned with real performance, not perceived performance. It is not "back wheel drive," but rear wheel drive. Please at least know the correct terms. The handling does not "suck," but it, again, takes skill to drive correctly and to it's full potential. If your "bro has one," then why is it for old people? The reason it has a bumpy ride is because the suspension is tuned for optimal handling from a RWD, V8 car. Looks are opinion based, so I cannot argue there. One last note: It's is a Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not a Chevy Z06. The Z06 is a trim level of the 'Vette.

all invalid reasons.

1-its hella fast and will keep up with just about anyother car from the factory especially for the money

2-u dont drive sports cars in the winter and besides this is actually a car that you probablly could if you really wanted to

3-any true sports car is rear wheel drive

4-as a matter of fact they are pretty smooth for a sports car

5-they handle great so i dont know what kind of p.o.s you drove

6-y do u think people buy them? great car for the money

It is true that you have to be of a certain age to afford the car the gas and the insurance.  But what a car.!   You, by the way, sound rather old.  You want a car with front wheel drive and a cushy ride.  I'm surprised that you don't complain that there is no back seat.
