  1. the calibre of the rounds they fire all all different, and you would not use an M-16 for the same purpuses you would use an MP-5 for. They are completely different weapons with completley different characteristics.

it's comparing apples, to oranges, really.

Apple's aren't, oranges, and oranges aren't apples. But they'e all fruit, lol.

  2. They are diffrent guns

  3. WELL, MP5 IS THE NEW ER VERSION OF MP3, IT STORES MORE THAN AN IPOD.:O

M16 IS SHORT FOR EMM-SIXTEEN WHICH IS A TYPE OF TOOL THEY USE TO TRACK THE YETI.

A AK-47 IS ALSO KNOWN AS ALEX KYTE IS 47.

THE BEST ONE. IS AN M16. DUHHHH.

  4. The MP5 is a sub-machinegun used by special forces and SWAT teams. It is the lightest of the 3, uses 9mm rounds, and capable of single, 3 round burst, and fully automatic fire. Its made by Heckler n' Koch (HK).

The M16 is an assault rifle, like the AK-47. It is mainly used by the U.S. military and can be outfitted with a grenade launcher. Like the MP5, it can also fire single, 3x burst, and full auto, however it uses a 5.56mm for long distance targets. Its a good rifle with low recoil, but susceptible to damage under harsh conditions. It is made by Colt.

The AK-47 is the cheapest (in terms of cost) and oldest of the 3. Unlike the MP5 and M16, the AK has no settings for 3x burst or single shot designation; it is a fully automatic rifle/carbine. Designed by a Russian dude named Kalishnokov (or something), it fires a 7.62mm and can also be fitted with a grenade launcher. Because of its low cost and rugged construction, this rifle was designed for, and mainly used by guerilla fighters. The AK can also withstand harsh environments, unlike the M16 or MP5. There are also many different variants of the AK that look similar. The 7.62mm round can travel the farthest of the 3, but its drawback is a very harsh recoil.

    Hope this helps!

  5. well, for starters they are all completely different weapons.

they don't even shoot the same rounds.

mp5 is basically a fully auto sub machine gun that shoots 9mm pistol rounds. the m16 is what the us armed forces uses as a service rifle which shoots 5.56 mm rifle cartridges. and the ak 47 fires a 7.62 mm rifle cartridges.

there are a lot of differences, you'd be best off just googling them and you'd find all the information you'd need.

  6. they pretty much summed it up above me so heres my lazy version

MP5 is a 9mm made by heckler & koch and is german

m16 is a 5.56 mm rifle cartridge (aka .223) and is american

ak-47 is a 7.62 mm rifle cartridge (aka .308) and is russian
