  1. The baby shower centerpieces are no doubtably the best answers.

Traditional baby shower centerpiece ideas often revolve around floral arrangements with a few balloons, though the modern era welcomes inventive styles for just about everything.

Floral baby shower centerpieces surrounded with candles are perfect gifts for new baby girls or baby boys. Make sure to use flowers that are in season for greater freshness and use baby bottles as vases for fresh flowers.

You can purchase items needed to make centerpieces from party supply stores, craft stores, Dollar Stores, Walmart, Kmart, Shopko and Target. Online baby shower stores will carry table centerpieces of a much wider variety than the local merchants. Remember to stick your centerpiece to the theme and color scheme....

  2. The big hit at my baby shower was the special prize draw we had.  The only way you could "buy" a ticket for the draw was to bring a package of diapers.  One package = one ticket.  At the end of the shower, I picked a ticket out of a bucket and the lucky winner won a Kitchen Aid stand mixer.  Since we put this information on the invitation (and what woman doesn't want one of those things?!) I ended up with 30 packages of diapers in sizes ranging from newborn to 4!  It took me quite a while to use them up (I still have a few left) and I was able to exchange unopened packages if they became too small.  Everyone was definitely excited about the draw!

  3. Good food!

Opening presents gets monotonous after awhile, sometimes the games are boring (or the guests are too shy!).  But, people always appreciate good food!
