The "Hollywood" sign is pretty large. Whether it is actually the largest/biggest or not, I am not sure.

The smallest words are probably those found on grains of rice, when people have written things like the Lord's Prayer on a grain of rice.

As already indicated, the word with the most letters has a great many, and it is doubtful if anyone knows what it it is.

There are many words that are spelled with one letter, such as 'I' and 'a' in English.  Adding exclamations results in 'o' being a word, and some dictionaries list each letter of the alphabet, simply because it is a letter of the alphabet.  Such letters also have traditional spelling, such as 'tee' for 't.'  What is true in English will be true in other languages as well.

In our culture, a person who is aghast (badly upset) may drop his jaw and expel a little air in a soundless gasp.  If there were a word for it, it might be spelled with no letter at all.
