Well the move of Berbatov to United is ordinary as its a big player to a big team but Robinho's move to City is just not right. A huge name to a small club isn't good at all.

Berbatov is the best signing he is tried and tested in the premiership. Robinho only went to city through the desperation of wanting to get out of Madrid he would have gone anywhere. I doubt he even knows who plays for city. This to me doesnt make for a good signing !! :)

robinho will produce some touches of genius and with jo they might link up well but they don't have 9 other great players to back them up, they have a few weak links, so BERBATOV will make more of an impact.

Robinho will take time to adapt - if he does this successfully then he is going to look really cheap at the price compared to Berbatov who may start sulking as soon as the rotation kicks in.

I noticed a comment about big star to small club - Man City would seem to want to be a big club and are just starting to make noise. It wasn't so long ago that Chelsea were on the brink of financial ruin and, relatively speaking, were a small club like Man City (when I say small they are still huge compared to most of the pro clubs). I am a Leeds fan though, and investment on this scale makes me twitchy - I hope they are not taking the same gamble Leeds did a few years ago where the investment is weighted against assumed success in the Champions League - there are 5 teams going for 4 places, someone is going to miss out on a whole heap of cash.

Robinho for sure, the guy is a superstar, Berbatov could disappear tomoro and be forgetten soon enough. Robinho is still young and has alot to prove going to Man City.
