  1. May be all above are correct . i am not good in geography.but for me the biggest place in this world is Human's Heart...

every happiness, all the sorrows , emotions ....Friends , enemies .........all in one place .......and much much more .....

  2. A building that encompasses 1200 acres is truly impressive, where did they get the technology to build one building so big and as far as I remember, the Forbidden city was not a palace but a group of buildings.I think the Versailles Palace is the biggest but you could always do a search.

  3. To my knowledge it's Palace of Versaille outside of Paris, but I've read there's some huge, ancient place in China but I can't recall the name.

  4. Weiyang Palace in Shansi province, China, is the largest palace ever built. It encompasses 1200 acres and was built by the Han dynasty. It's about 6 times larger than the Forbidden City.

Edit - Here is where we get into semantics. Weiyang has the largest ground area - gardens, buildings etc. According to Wicki - the Forbidden City is the largest palace and it comprises several buildings plus gardens, courtyards, etc. If you want the largest building itself, it is the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, Roumania.

  5. The Forbidden City (Imperial Palace) in the heart of Beijing is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China, and the world at large, Which covers an area of 178 acres.

  6. I do believe it belongs to the Saudis, sorry but I do not know it's name

  7. The Prague Castle (Czech: Pražský hrad) is the castle in Prague where the Czech kings, Holy Roman Emperors and presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic have had their offices. The crown jewels of the Bohemian Kingdom are kept here. Prague Castle is one of the biggest castles in the world (according to Guinness Book of Records the biggest ancient castle [1]) at about 570 meters in length and an average of about 130 meters wide.

    :)
