My son started school last week and he has to do a report on "Ants" for school, and I know about how the ants work for the queen ants, but what is the biggest species of ant?

The giant Australian bull dog worker ants are the largest worker ants at 2.5 cm (one inch). The queens are the largest though of a species of ant, as you know. Not sure what the largest queen ant is. Bullet ants are also 2.5 cm. A queen driver ant gets to 5 cm! Soldier driver ants are 1.5 cm according to here.
