  2. dude, this people are wrong... that's the corcovado forest

  3. It depends on the area of Costa Rica you are in and What type of Tropical Forest you are looking for.  Here in Costa Rica we have a few different types of forest Cloud Forest up in the mountains.  We have Rain Forest.  We Have Dry Forest.  The Largest National Park is Parque Nacional Tapanti, Parque Nacional Chirripo, Parque Internacional La Amistad.  It is technically three National Parks but the  land areas are all connected.  Another  is Isla Del Coco.  The entire Island is a National Park.  Here in Costa Rica almost the entire country is covered in forest.  It all depends on which type of forest you are looking to enjoy.  There are places along the Central Pacific coast where Rain Forest comes all the way down to meet the ocean such as in Quepos  where the Manuel Antonio Nacional Park is located.  When in doubt look at a map.  The land area of the three parks I listed is far bigger than the corcovado.

  4. la amistad/ talamanca highlands
