What is the black hose

What is the black hose for (trying to disconnect dishwasher. Have followed all the appropriate steps -turning off power/turning off water supply, disconnected everything so far..........except for big black hose.Not exactly sure what this is (comes out of wall & connects to dishwasher). Please tell me what this is for & how to disconnect -thanks.
